States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Cynthia M. Record, helpless and dependent daughter of Lewis L. Record, late chaplain Twenty-third Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.

White, late of Company K, Twenty-seventh Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Catherine Meade, widow of William Meade, late of the Hospital Corps, United States Army, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month, and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of said William Meade until she reaches the age of sixteen years.

B. Coffin, late captain Company K, Sixtysecond Regiment United States Colored Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Etta Scott Mitchell, widow of David D. Mitchell, late captain, Fifteenth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Murphy, late captain, Thirty-ninth Regiment United States Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of said William L. Murphy until she reaches the age of sixteen years.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Rhody Ann Bradshaw, widow of Benjamin Bradshaw, late of Captain Lumsford Loving's company, Virginia Militia, war of eighteen hundred and twelve, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

CHAP. 176.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Minnie E. King.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Minnie E. King, widow of Charles A. E. King, late lieutenant, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty-five dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of said Charles A. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to release and hanna C. Block of title quitclaim to Johanna C. Block, her heirs and assigns forever, all the to lot 1, square 1113. right, title, and interest, whether legal or equitable, of the United States of America in and to all that lot or parcel of ground situated in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, and known on the ground plan of said city as lot numbered one, in square eleven hundred and thirteen, upon the payment by the said Johanna C. Block of such a sum as the said Secretary of the Interior shall deem just and equitable: Provided, That the said Johanna C. Block pay to the proper officer of the District of Columbia all taxes heretofore assessed against said property, both general and special, now unpaid and standing against said property.
