CHAP. 618.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Richard P. Nichuals.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Richard P. Nichu- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Richard P. Nichuals, late of Company C, Seventyfirst Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Perry H. Alexander, late of Company G, One hundred and fifteenth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Myron C. Burnside, late of Company E, Fortieth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Ida D. Greene, widow of Francis E. Greene, late lieutenant-commander, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month, and two dollars per month additional on account of each of the minor children of said Francis E. Greene until they reach the age of sixteen years. Approved, April 28, 1902.

pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James Matthews, late of Company M, Ninth Regiment New Jersey Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, April 28, 1902.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Zachariah R. Saunders, late of Company C, Second Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 539.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James Moore, late of Company K, One hundred and thirty-sixth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty-six dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Guinn, late of Company H, Seventh Regiment West Virginia Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James F. P. Johnston, late captain Independent Florida Mounted Volunteers, Florida Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Blanche Duffy, formerly Sister Blanche O'Brien, late a nurse in the hospital of the Sisters of Charity at Saint Louis, Missouri, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.

Pettit, widow of Gilbert B. Pettit, late first lieutenant, Company F, One hundred and twentieth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. CHAP. 636.-An Act For the relief of George W. King.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following real estate, to wit, parts of lots two hundred and twenty-eight and two hundred and twenty-nine, in square twelve hundred and ninety, in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, described as follows: Beginning for the same at a point on the east side of Thirty-fourth street eight feet north of the dividing line between said lots and running thence south on Thirty-fourth street twenty-four feet; thence east parallel with T street ninety-six feet to the rear line of said lot; thence north with said rear line twenty-four feet, and thence west to the place of beginning, heretofore purchased and conveyed to George W. King, of the city of Washington, District of Columbia, be relieved and exempted from the operation of an Act entitled "An Act to restrict the ownership of real estate in the Territories to American citizens," approved March third, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, and all forfeitures incurred by force of said Act, by reason of the alienage of one Patrick Mahon, à former owner of said real estate, are hereby remitted.
