CHAP. 769.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John S. Robinson.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the persion roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John S. Robinson, late of Company G. First Regiment Colorado Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, May 5, 1902.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary Beals, widow of Jerome Beals, late second lieutenant Company E, Second Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-five dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Lydia M. Granger, widow of William M. Granger, late of the United States Marine Corps, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, and two dollars per month additional on account of each of the minor children of the said William M. Granger until they reach the age of sixteen years.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Clifford Neff Fyffe, widow of Joseph Fyffe, .ate rear-admiral, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. laws, the name of Delania Ferguson, widow of William Ferguson, late of Captain Kelsey's company, North Carolina Volunteers, Cherokee Indian disturbance, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Charles F. Rand, late of Company K, Twelfth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, May 5, 1902.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Maria L. Godfrey, widow of Alfred C. Godfrey, late chaplain Twentieth Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United [Private, No. 673.] States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Eunice A. Smith, widow of Frederick R. Smith, late commander, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of the said Frederick R. Smith until he reaches the age of sixteen years. Approved, May 5, 1902.

George, late of Company F, Twenty-sixth Regiment New York Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James H. Walker, late captain Company D, United States Voltigeurs, war with Mexico, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, May 12, 1902.

CHAP. 791.-An Act For the relief of Mrs. Arivella D. Meeker.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Mrs. Arivella D. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Payment to, from Treasury is hereby directed to pay to Mrs. Arivella D. Meeker, of Greeley, Colorado, an annuity of five hundred dollars per annum for her life, commencing on the fifteenth day of June, nineteen hundred, out of the annuities of the confederated bands of Ute Indians, as a recognition of the services of her husband, the late Nathan Cook Meeker, as Indian agent at the White River Agency, in Colorado, and for the losses his family sustained by reason of his assassination and the destruction of his property by the Indians of said agency in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-nine.

Zollinger, widow of Charles A. Zollinger, late colonel One hundred and twenty-ninth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty Collars per month.

Bennett, late of Company F, Nineteenth Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Patton Anderson, late lieutenant-colonel Battalion Mississippi Rifles, war with Mexico, and pay her a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension faws, the name of Rebecca Coppinger, widow of William H. Coppinger, late of Company K, First Regiment United States Dragoons, Sabine Indian disturbance, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.
