unto thy days, fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and I will defend this city. And this shall be a sign unto thee from the Lord, Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees which is gone down on the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward, by which degrees it was gone down." I could bring forward a great variety of instances, both from the Old and New Testament, where the dear people of God have been brought into those circumstances, in which they are necessitated to besiege a throne of grace, both night and day, and are not only wrestling Jacobs, but prevailing Israels. And cannot you and I, my dear friends, call to mind many instances when we have been pressed out of measure, insomuch to despair even of life, that we have been answered in the joy of our hearts, and would not have been without the trial for thousands of gold and silver; for in it we have seen and felt the goodness of God in succouring and supporting us, and, in his own time, delivering us. May the Lord command a blessing; I add no more.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God our heavenly Father, and the sweet communion and fellowship of God the Holy Ghost, rest upon, and remain with the Israel of God, both now and evermore. Amen and Amen.
