Now make good my Promife, and carry the Expedient for Peace among all Proteftants into the Church; if will be fo kind you to do this fecond Letter the Honour which you allow'd to the firft; in which I confider'd it with reference to -the State.

What I have to propofe will recommend it felf from its Antiquity, being fetch'd from the earliest Times of Chriftianity; and will lie in a little Compafs. It confifts only of a few Canons, but then they are fuch as have a Divine Right to take place of any that were ever made fince, A 2
