Isaiah, 49 ch. "Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste and a curse. Hamoth is confounded. I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus and it shall consume the palace of Benhadad. Hosar shall be a dwelling place for dragons and a desolation

forever."

ROME.

The two brothers who founded Rome descended from the Trojan Kings. Their kingdom as to territory extended along the Tiber, nine by three miles, which in time became the dragonic empire of the world, designated by Daniel; and which brought to an end the confederation of Greece in the Leopard Empire, having confederated with nine kingdoms of Europe, and devoured many nations; and reduced Judea to a province, and at the instigation of the Jews, crucified the Lord of life and glory; and forty years afterward tore down the walls of Jerusalem, demolished the temple, destroyed the city, killed many of the Jews and drove the remainder as fugitives over the world, to wander in disgrace and distress.

The combined forces of the dragonic body,

-politic and corporate-were Italy, England, Ravana, Lombardy, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Prussia, and in these were the ten horns as shown by Daniel with its seven forms of government from first to last. as seven heads.

The little horn with the ten, the union of the political and religious force; the feet of iron and clay, as explained by Daniel. And this is the beast of the sea, as seen by John; and their government the seventh head of the dragon.

The two horns plucked up were Lombardy and Ravana, and the Dukedom of Rome, which leaves seven.

The wounding of the dragon's head was the moving of the imperial seat from Rome to Ravana, and reducing Italy to a Dukedom. The healing of the wound was the removal of the imperial seat back to Rome.

There was in heaven,-imperial heaven,the Roman government, a woman clothed with the sun,-ecclesiastical rule; and the moon, the political powers in subordination to the church.

The woman drunk,-the fallen gentile church, which will have said, a confederacy with the ways of Satan's rule in the outer circle, political body, combined with Brahminism, Necromancy and Infidelity; which combined with its fallen ecclesiastical force, with its false and confused doctrines and notions, constituting a Babel of mysteryMystic Babylons ripening for the "sharp sickle."

America was discovered by Columbus of Genoa, Italy; was commissioned by Spain, two of the countries and kingdom of Dragonic Europe, and beast of the sea.

The second was Americus, from another of the kingdoms. Another from France, others from Germany and England; so the errth,--as a country and government, was discovered and settled by descendants of Dragonic Europe, and being in relation of that government as the beast of the sea -who has eyes like a man, and a mouth speaking great things, therefore John continues the connection of the chain of governments.
