THE present volume includes the Transactions of the Society for the session 1875-6,—that is, from September, 1875, to June, 1876, inclusive; and, although containing less matter than some of its predecessors, covers a shorter period. It is, however, the time which subsequent volumes, if issued annually, will include, as there are no meetings during July and August.
