THIRD SERIES - No. XIX.

SEPTEMBER, 1838,

Art. I.--1. Lehrbuch der Christlichen Dogmatik, in ihren

historischen Entwickelung dargestellt. Von D. WILHELM MARTIN LEBERECHT DE WETTE. 2 Theile. Berlin, 1830, 1821. Manual of Doctrinal Christianity in its Historical

Development. 2. Ueber Religion und Theologie. Erlauterungen su seinem

und ihren Einfluss auf das Leben. Vorlesungen von DR. W. M. L. DE WETTE. Berlin, 1817. Lectures on Religion in its Essence, its Manifestations, and its Influence on Life.

It is the repository of the great facts in man's religious experience, as the latter is of the facts of observation. Wise and rare indeed is the Theologian, VOL. XXV. - 3D S. VOL. VII. NO. 1.
