A rotary chocolate-cooler 1 possessing some novel features has recently been introduced. This consists of a circular chamber containing shelves arranged in compartments which are fixed to a central vertical spindle rotated by a hand-wheel fixed outside the cooler. The compartments are all numbered, and, as each arrives opposite the door, its number is automatically indicated on a dial placed above the hand-wheel. The air inside the chamber is cooled by brine-drums, and air circulation is maintained by a small fan. The Express Rotary Cooler Syndicate, Ltd., London. |
