Tm: following pages were begun at sea by a person from England, and continued through his journey up into the state of Ohio. They have indeed been corrected, and enlarged by some additional matter and travels since that period, but the additions were added probably on travel, and at a distance from home; As to the extent of the work, it had recently been intended by the writer to bear the following title, namely, Tan Camerun spectator: including a Journey from England to Ohio, Two Years in that State, Travels, dzc. But for want of means form at present, he has come to the conclusion to publish onlyapartof ittillafutureperiod.
