Valeat quantum valere potest.

"A Muslim cannot obtain anything better than an amiable and beautiful wife, such a wife who, wben ordered by ber busband to do a thing, will obey, and if ber busband looks at her will be happy; and if ber busband swears by bet, she will make bim a swearer of truth; and if be be absent from ber, sbe will bonour bim with ber own person and property."
