MUNCIE, IND., July 16, 1902.

After a careful examination of the Series of Historical maps. I recommended them to the Muncie City School Board for use in the schools. I recommend them to others as the most complete maps in their line, published. It seems to me they are invaluable aids to the comprehension of the most important struggles of this country.

Respectfully,

IW. R. SNYDER.
Superintendent.
July 27, 1902.

I consider these maps the best for elucidating American history of any I have seen. I heartily recommend them.

J. H. JEFFREY, Supt. Gas City Schools.

:WILLIAMSPORT, IND., July 3, 1902.

I have examined the Series of Historical Maps and believe them to be a most excellent help in the instruction of history. I can strongly recommend them, and hope that all schools having seventh and eighth grade pupils will be supplied with them.

PLYMOUTH, IND., August 1, 1902.

I have just examined the Series of Historical Maps known as the "Illustrative Historical Chart" and consider them the most complete series I have ever examined. The subject of History, especially settlements and wars, is one of the difficult subjects in our course, but with the help of these maps, this difficulty is overcome.

In my opinion, this chart can be used to great advantage, and at the price, trustees will be able to fill a long needed want.

GEORGE D. MARKS, Superintendent Marshall County.
