A communication was received from the Congregational and Presbyterian Union of Wisconsin, expressing a desire for fraternal correspondence with this body. Whereupon it was

Voted, That we reciprocate the sentiments of the communication through the Secretary of the Association.

The Trustees of the Widow's Charitable Fund made their report, which was accepted and adopted. [See Appendix.]

The Treasurer of the Association made his report, which was accepted and adopted. (See Appendix.)

Voted, That the Secretary of this body communicate our sympathies to the Free Presbyterians of Scotland.Accordingly the Secretary presented a letter which he had prepared, which was approved and directed to be sent.

Voted, That the following persons be appointed a Committee to certify the regular standing of ministers and candidates travelling beyond the limits of this body, viz :

Rev. Messrs. J. French, E. L. Parker, J. Curtis, A. W. Burnham, N. Rev. John Richards, was chosen Bouton, P. Cook, G. Punchard, N. Moderator, Rev. O. C. Whiton, Scribe, Lord,D. D., J. Woods, Z. S. Barstow, and Rev. W. Fifield, Assistant Scribe. A. Bodwell and D. Perry.
