Gal. iv, 30, 31. Nevertheless, what saith the scripture? Cast out the bond woman and her son: for the son of the bond woman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bond woman, but of the free.

Acts vi, 7. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multipled in Jerusalem greatly: and a great company of the priests were obedient

to the faith.

Acts x, 27, 28. And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. An he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep

company, or come unto one of fellow-workers unto the kingdom another nation; but God hath to God, which have been a comshewed me that I should not call, fort unto me. any man common or unclean.

Acts xi, 1-3, 9--14, 17, 18. And the apostles and brethren that were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God. And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him, Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them. But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven. And, behold, immediately there were three men already come from Cesarea unto me. unto the house where I was, sent And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover, these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house: And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter. Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Acts xiv, 1. And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews; and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.

Acts xv, 8, 9. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Acts xxi, 20-22. And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law: And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs. What is it therefore? the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.

Col. iv, 11. And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my

JEWISH UNBELIEF. Acts xiii, 19, 40. 41, 50. And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot. Beware, therefore, lest that come upon you which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city. against Paul and Barnabas, and persecution expelled them out of their coasts.

Acts xvii, 5. But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

Acts xviii, 12, 13. And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgmentseat, Saying, This fellow persuadeth men to worship God contrary

to the law.

Acts xxvi, 19--21. Whereupon, king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.

Acts xxviii, 25-29. And when themselves, they departed, after they [the Jews] agreed not among that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles
