The TempestThe Tempest is one of the most praised and academically acclaimed and recognized works of British author and dramatist William Shakespeare. It is believed to be written in 1610-1611 and considered to be the last individual work of William Shakespeare. The character are well laid down and the story is among the most read novels even after 4 centuries past its creation. The story of Tempest is set in remote island where Prospero who happens to be the actual Duke of Milan plots for the restoring of his daughter Miranda to her rightful place using skilled manipulation tactics and illusion. Prospero is a skilled magician with great powers. The book is considered to be following neo-classical style for its stricter observation and details. The popularity of the Tempest was however delayed as the original version was never so popular. The script was than restored and the final adaptation. |
