NOTICE.

The note on page 192 would appear to reflect on Dr. Salm. Such is not intended. In printing the Transactions it was found that his manuscript (which was not paged) was disconnected, and a large part of it was therefore necessarily omitted. It was only discovered after the work was finished that two entire pages were missing from the article; no fault of the authors, as the article was entire when read; but these two pages never came into the hands of the publishing committee, and it is not now known what became of them, they having been referred to some committee during the meeting. This is what has delayed the issue of the book, which has been ready since August 10th.

Fort Worth, September 10, 1884.

F. E. DANIEL, M. D., Member Publishing Committee.
