SIR: I have the honor to transmit herewith a brief manuscript on the subject of Scabies in Cattle, by Dr. R. W. Hickman, chief of the miscellaneous division of this Bureau. Numerous requests for information have been received by this Bureau as to the character of this disease and the methods of treatment, and this paper has been prepared with a view to answering these inquiries. Accompanying the manuscript are specifications and drawings for making dipping vats, and also a list of lumber and hardware required.
