Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of William C. McClellan. any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Robert J. Spottswood and the heirs of William C. McClellan, deceased, of Colorado, twelve thousand five hundred dollars, as additional compensation for transporting the United States mail from Morrison to Fairplay, and from Fairplay to Leadville, in the State of Colorado, by the said Spottswood and McClellan, from the first day of September, eighteen hundred and seventy-eight, to the tenth day of September, eighteen hundred and seventy-nine.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Paul Crum, of the city Military record corof Fargo, State of North Dakota, shall be held and considered to have served as a private, Company B, First Regiment North Dakota Volunteer Infantry, in the war with Spain, from February third, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, to March twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, and to have been honorably discharged of said last date.

SEC. 2. That said Paul Crum be, and he is hereby, entitled to all privileges and immunities belonging to a private soldier of said regiment the same as though he had been regularly enlisted therein. Approved, May 22, 1902.
