CHAP. 65.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to William H. Green.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William H. Green, late captain Company E, Second Regiment Colorado Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, January 9, 1903.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Jane M. Meyer, widow of Herman A. Meyer, junior, late captain Company H, Twenty-eighth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Lee, late of Company B, Tenth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, January 9, 1903.

Whit- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Cornelia F. Whitney, widow of Edmund C. Whitney, late of Company I, Fifty-third Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United James K. Van Matre. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the

laws, the name of James K. Van Matre, late of Fifth Independent Battery Wisconsin Volunteer Light Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Ann E. Tillson, widow of John Tillson, late colonel Tenth Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and brevet brigadiergeneral United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, January 9, 1903.

Newman, late of Company G, Twentyfourth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Davis, late of Company A, Thirty-sixth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, January 9, 1903.

Bradshaw, late of Company K, First Regiment Kentucky Volunteers, war with Mexico, and Company F, One hundred and forty-eighth Regiment Indiana Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Stadtmueller, widow of Charles Stadtmueller, late of Companies A and H, Fifth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
