CHAP. 264.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to William F. Stanley. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United William F. Stanley. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William F. Stanley, late of Company G, Fortieth Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James P. Thomas, late of Company I, Fifth Regiment Iowa Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, January 22, 1903.

Baker, late of Company A, One hundred and forty-seventh, and Company C, Ninety-first, Regiments New York Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary V. Scriven, widow of Gardner R. Scriven, late acting surgeon, United States Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.

McVicker, late of Company E, Eightyeighth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. StroInterior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Fannie E. Strohauer, widow of Henry Strohauer, late of Company F, Eighty-third Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month, such pension, however, to cease upon proof that the soldier is still living.

Wilson, late of Company E, Eightyseventh Regiment Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Sheldon, late captain Company C, First Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month.
