CHAP. 821.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Elizabeth Thompson. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Elizabeth Thomp- States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Elizabeth Thompson, widow of Matthew Thompson, late of Company K, Seventh Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry, and Company K, First Regiment Maine Veteran Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of George Davis, late of Company A, Seventy-eighth Regiment United States Colored Volunteer Infantry, and Company F, Ninth Regiment United States Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Milam, late of Captain Ford's detachment, Third Regiment United States Dragoons, war with Mexico, and first lieutenant Company D, First Regiment Indiana Volunteer Heavy Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Squires, late of Company B, Sixth Regiment Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
