Search, gracious God, and see; Lord, I appeal to thee. 2 I charge my thoughts, be humble still, And all my carriage mild; Content, my Father, with thy will, And quiet as a child. Shall have a large reward : At the ordination of a minister. WHERE shall we go, to seek and find A habitation for our God; A dwelling for th' eternal mind, Among the sons of Aesh and blood ?. 2 The God of Jacob chose the hill Of Zion for his ancient rest; And reign forever, saith the Lord ; word. 4. PSALM 132 Second Part. C. M. At the dedication of a Church. And enter to thy rest : Thus to be own'd and blest. Thy Spirit and thy word : Could no such grace afford. . Let truth their tongues employ; Thy saints may shout for joy. Here let thy prai-e be spread ; And fill thy poor with bread. Brotherly love. Brethren whose cheerful hearts unite In bonds of piety. 2 When streams of love from Christ, the spring, Descend to ev'ry soul, Shades and bedews the whole : 3 'Tis like the oil divinely sweet, On Aaron's rey'rend head; And o'er his garments spread. That fall on Zion's hill; Love and worship in a Family: Whose hearts and hopes are one ; Thro' all their actions run. 2 Blest is the pious house, Where zeal and friendship meet : Their songs of praise; their mingled vows, , Make their communion sweet. 3 Thus, on the heav'nly hills The saints are blest above, Where joy, like morning dew distils, And all the air is love. PSALM 134. C. M. Daily and nightly devotion. Attend his place And bless his wondrous grace. B 1 2 Lift up your hands by morning light, And raise your souls on high ; Send your admiring thoughts by night With rays of quick’ning grace ; The church is God's house and care. While in his earthly courts ye wait, Ye saints that to his house belong, Or stand attending at his gate.
